Most laminate is water-resistant, not fully waterproof. Spills should be wiped up quickly — standing water can cause swelling and edge damage. For bathrooms or laundry rooms where moisture is constant, we recommend LVP instead.
We only install AC4 or AC5 rated laminate. These are commercial-grade ratings designed to handle heavy residential foot traffic. AC3 and below wear through too quickly for most active households.
